MONTH 8

Curiosity

Notice more. Wonder more. Keep growing.

Curiosity keeps retirement from becoming too small. It reminds us there is still more to notice, more to learn, more to ask, and more to explore.

Month 8 Curiosity

THE MONTH AHEAD

Curiosity is one way we keep becoming.

The moment you stop being curious is the moment you stop growing.

Retirement can easily become routine if we let it. We settle into familiar rhythms, familiar places, and familiar thoughts. Curiosity interrupts that drift.

It invites us to ask questions again. What interests me now? What have I never explored? What might I enjoy learning simply because I want to?

THIS MONTH'S THOUGHT

Curiosity opens doors that routines keep closed.

You do not need a major reinvention to grow. Sometimes growth begins with one question, one conversation, one article, one class, or one moment of paying closer attention.

The moment you stop being curious is the moment you stop growing.

MY JOURNEY THIS MONTH

What am I still curious about?

This month I want to notice where my attention goes when no one else is directing it. What topics pull me in? What ideas make me pause? What subjects or skills have quietly stayed in the back of my mind?

Curiosity feels different from productivity. It does not need to be efficient or useful right away. It gives me permission to follow interest before I know where it leads.

I am not trying to master everything. I am simply making room to be interested again.

THE QUITIRED CHALLENGE

Follow one question.

Pick a topic you’ve always wondered about
and spend 30 minutes learning.

No pressure to turn it into a project. No need to become an expert. Just follow your curiosity long enough to see what it wakes up in you.

THE BOOK THIS MONTH

The Art of Possibility

by Rosamund Stone Zander and Benjamin Zander

This month’s book fits Curiosity beautifully. It invites us to look beyond limitation, rethink the stories we tell ourselves, and stay open to new ways of seeing what is possible.

It is less about having the right answers and more about learning to approach life with openness, imagination, and a willingness to ask better questions.
