MONTH 3

Health & Energy

Feel good. Have energy. Live fully.

This month is about building the strength, mobility, energy, and habits that help us fully enjoy the life we worked so hard to reach.

Month 3 Health and Energy

THE MONTH AHEAD

Feel good.
Have energy.
Live fully.

You can't fully enjoy retirement if you don't have the energy to live it.

A DIFFERENT WAY TO THINK ABOUT HEALTH

This isn't about chasing youth.

Retirement changes the reason health matters. It isn't about looking younger or keeping up with someone else's idea of fitness.

It's about protecting our ability to travel, play with the grandkids, walk through a new city, get up from the floor, carry our own bags, try something new, and keep saying yes to the life we want to live.

What do I need my body to be able to do
so I can actually enjoy this next part of my life?

THIS MONTH'S FOCUS

01

Move

Keep your body doing the things you want it to keep doing.

02

Strengthen

Build the capacity that supports independence and confidence.

03

Recover

Rest, fuel, and recovery are part of health, not the opposite of it.

04

Enjoy

Health gives us more opportunities to fully participate in our own lives.

MY JOURNEY THIS MONTH

What does having energy make possible?

This month I'm paying attention to more than workouts or numbers. I'm noticing how I feel, what gives me energy, what drains it, and what I want my body to keep making possible.

I'm also looking at the habits that support the bigger picture: movement, strength, recovery, sleep, food, and the willingness to keep challenging myself.

I don't need to be younger. I want to stay capable.

THIS MONTH'S CHALLENGE

One healthy habit. Seven days.

Commit to one new healthy habit for the next seven days.

Keep it small enough to actually do, but meaningful enough to notice.

THE BOOK THIS MONTH

Built to Move

Kelly Starrett & Juliet Starrett

Built to Move fits this month because it focuses on something more useful than trying to turn back the clock: maintaining the physical abilities that make everyday life possible.

The goal isn't perfection or athletic performance. It's staying mobile, strong, and capable enough to keep participating in the life we want.
